Background

HODECO is a non-governmental and non-profit making Organization. It is registered under the required legal status as a nonprofit, non-political and
non-governmental Organization registered with the Ministry of Planning in
Somaliland.

MISSION

HODECO aims at and is convinced to fulfilling communities free from poverty,
inequality, and social injustice by helping members of local communities meet their
own needs. HODECO believes in that this can be only attained through a need driven short-term and long-term humanitarian and development interventions, lobbing for and advocating necessary policy and legal frameworks and enabling communities attain independency and self-sufficiency. To ensure this, HODECO postulates empowering communities from education, health, agriculture, environment among other important social lives.

VISION

HODECO aspires to seeing community pushing themselves out of the poverty cycle, fulfilling their potentials and enjoying better quality of life with shared concepts and visions of togetherness, while promoting action learning process in the course of implementing projects for experience building.
